UVU Envision World Team Auditon Information

UVU Envision Winter Guard is pleased to announce a World team being

added to the UVU Envision program. The World team will be fielded for

the 2009 season. A World Guard is from age 0-99.

Take exit 271 for Center St toward Orem (head east off the freeway)

Cross State Street

Turn right at 400 E

UVU Envision will also field an Indepenent A team.

Auditions will be held on Friday May 2nd from 6:30-9:30 PM

and Saturday May 3rd from 1-7 P.M. in the Orem High School C-Gym.

 

Auditions may also be held the next Saturday, May 10th if needed.

If you know of individuals which are interested, but cannot make the

auditions, please contact me for a private audition.

The audition for the rifle line will include:

50 right and left hand spins in a row50 singles right and left in a row10 doubles consistently in a row10 Triples consistently in a row10 Quads consistently in a rowboth single and double horizontalistriple and quad butt tossesdouble catch behind the backtriple single hand right hand catch into a flourishthere will be a 48 count rifle sequence that you will have to learn and perform

All auditoners will demonstrate the following:

Dance:

A 60 count dance sequence learned and performed to different music for which you to interpret to four different genres of music. Lyrical, Jazz, hip hop, alternative.

Flag:

A 54 count flag sequence to learn and perform.

The audition for the saber line will include:

25 right hand and left hand spins in a row25 right and left singles in a rowsingle and double blade tossessingle horizontal toss10 doubles consistently in a row10 triples consistently in a row10 quads consistently in a rowThere will be a 48 count saber sequence you will have to learn and perform
